  • Riviera del ConeroAncona

The capital of the Marche Region has a wide range of historical landmarks, covering over 2,400 years of history. Stroll around the marina, admire the Roman Arch of Trajan, and then go see the Romanesque San Ciriaco Cathedral, which stands on Guasco hill. Visit the Mole Vanvitelliana, which dates back to the 18th century, lose your way in the greenery of Cardeto Park and explore the Passetto area, with its imposing, century-old Monument.
  • Riviera del ConeroNumana

The town of Numana dates back to the Picenian period, and today is a renowned tourist and seaside destination. During the summer, it bristles with shows, concerts, and a variety of events, its nightlife full of clubs and typical restaurants that bring together tourists and local citizens. Don’t miss the panoramic view from the Tower, an arch at the end of the town, and the Costarella, a characteristic stairway that connects the centre with the seafront. Neighbouring Marcelli is home to bathing establishments and shops, and attracts a lot of people for the evening walk.
  • Riviera del ConeroSirolo

Sirolo is a picturesque village at the foot of Mount Conero. Best known for its beautiful beaches, many of which are Blue Flag-certified, it is an excellent tourist destination in the summer. The village is huddled around the main square, and offers a fine view of the Conero, the beaches and nearby Numana. Lively summer evenings boast an impressive programme of events, yet it is also possible to enjoy a romantic seafood dinner in one of many small restaurants.
  • Riviera del ConeroLoreto

Loreto, perched on a hill, is home to the famous Basilica, a religious destination that is, in all of Italy, second only to Rome. In the Basilica, you will find the Holy House, which faith and tradition identify with what was once the house of Mary, where the mother of Christ received the Annunciation from the Archangel Gabriel. Here, history and art history span the centuries and come together remarkably, in such works as those of the painter Lorenzo Lotto.
  • Riviera del ConeroPorto Recanati

Right along the coast, the town of Porto Recanati always turns out to be lively, not just in the summer, but also during the winter. Walk along the seafront and discover the shops and typical venues, let yourself be carried away by the nightlife on the main street, cycle down the alleyways of the centre, admiring the tower that overlooks over the city.
  • Riviera del ConeroRecanati

The city of Recanati is famous for being the birthplace of poet Giacomo Leopardi and tenor Beniamino Gigli. These great geniuses of literature and music have left their mark here; you can visit the places where Leopardi lived and those that were sources of inspiration for some of his works, such as the Colle dell’Infinito. Don’t forget to go and see the works of Lorenzo Lotto; many of his masterful paintings can be found here.
  • Riviera del ConeroConero

The Conero is a 572-meter high promontory overlooking the sea; this “mountain” really has a lot to offer nature lovers and adventure seekers; you will find paths to ride your bike on; depending on how proficient a cyclist you are, you may choose demanding or easygoing itineraries. The Conero can also be explored on foot, and trekkers really love it. You might spot such lovely plants as the broom, or with a bit of luck, such animals as the wolf, pheasant, or wild boar.
